The Flowmaster 223 Series Standard Duty Catalytic Converter with 2.50-Inch Inlet and Outlet is engineered to meet federal EPA emissions requirements while improving exhaust flow. Designed as a direct or consolidated replacement, it serves universal applications to reduce harmful emissions and prevent Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) issues. This converter is intended for use in emissions-controlled vehicles outside California, ensuring legal usage across 49 states.
Construction and Appearance. Featuring a durable stainless steel outer shell with a naturally finished spun round body, this catalytic converter offers maximum corrosion resistance and long-lasting performance. The internal ceramic substrate is optimized for precious metal loading to deliver efficient catalytic reactions that effectively reduce emissions.
Installation. Installation requires welding and/or fabrication, making this converter suitable for experienced technicians. No drilling is typically necessary, though fitting adjustments may be required to ensure proper connection.
Warranty. This product includes a 25,000-mile emissions warranty and a 5-year/50,000-mile exterior case warranty for added peace of mind. Application. It fits a wide variety of applications with some adaptation needed due to its universal design and is not legal for vehicles licensed or operated in California.
