Description
Four Inches of Lift. Take on what the great outdoors can throw at you by upgrading your Tundra's stock suspension with a 4-inch Uniball Upper Control Arm System from Fabtech. With 4-inches of lift, this kit can accommodate tires up to 35 x 12.5 in size mounted on 20-inch wheels. This Fabtech 4-inch System features tubular upper control arms with PTFE lined stainless steel American uniball bushings. What’s more, the included Dirt Logic 2.5 Coilover and 2.25 Rear Shocks provide a comfortable ride, even when tested across rough terrain.
Tubular Control Arms. Fabtechs tubular upper control arms are built with the same materials found on Trophy Trucks. The included 1.50-inch OD tubular control arms are manufactured from 0.120-inch wall 4130 chromoly tubing for superior strength and are then completed in a durable black powder coat finish for long lasting corrosion resistance. These control arms feature 0.250-inch wall DOM bushing barrels with PTFE lined 1-inch ID stainless steel American Uniballs. The included heat treated, 17-4 stainless steel Uniball pins fit into the factory ball joint taper without modifications to the spindle for an easy return to stock feature.
Dirt Logic Coilovers and Shocks. The included Dirt Logic Coilovers and Shock Absorbers have been specially tuned to work in conjunction with the other components in this Kit, resulting in superior ride control. The Coilovers feature a 2.5-inch OD stainless steel body, 2.25-inch OD billet aluminum piston, and a 7/8-inch thick NitroSteel black piston rod with cold wound coil springs, to provide incredible dampening capacity for aggressive off-road driving. The Shocks feature a 2.25-inch OD stainless steel body, 2.0-inch OD billet aluminum piston, and a 7/8-inch thick NitroSteel black piston rod, making them significantly tougher when compared to stock.
Iron Steering Knuckles. Fabtech includes a set of heavy duty replacement steering knuckles in their 4-inch Lift Kit. These extended length steering knuckles are manufactured from ductile iron for superior strength. These knuckles have been designed to operate within the factory steering geometry.
Lift Blocks. The included 1-inch Rear Lift Blocks include in this Performance Lift Kit have been manufactured from high grade steel for superior strength and extra rigidity. The components are then completed in a durable black powder coat finish for long lasting corrosion resistance.
Welding Required. This is not a bolt-on kit. It should be noted that cutting, drilling and welding is required for installation. With all the necessary hardware included, this Lift kit can be installed in about 8 to 10 hours time. Professional installation is highly recommended.
