More Power for the Trail Ahead. The Edge Jammer Cold Air Intake is the cold air intake for your 4.0L Jeep Wrangler TJ that offers an effective performance boost for aggressive off-roading. This cold air intake is designed to maximize cold air supply into your engine, resulting in an overall power increase, and a more responsive throttle. This extra power on tap gives you the capability to tackle more intense off-road trails with confidence.
ECU Re-Tune Is Called For. Installing this cold air intake calls for a simultaneous ECU re-tune. This is to properly align your MAF’s parameters to the larger amounts of cold air supplied by this cold air intake. Additionally, an ECU re-tune is necessary to get the most out of the Edge Jammer Cold Air Intake.
High-Performance Air Filter. The Edge Jammer Cold Air Intake employs a high-performance dry air filter that’s capable of exceptional filtration, as well as excellent air flow. This air filter is low maintenance, so you spend more time on the trail, rather than in your garage. Maintenance, however, is super easy; simply tap out the excess dirt, and use compressed air.
High-Strength Construction with an Exceptional Design. The Edge Jammer Cold Air Intake uses a combination of high impact plastic and aircraft-grade aluminum for the air intake tube and heat shield, respectively. The air intake tube is designed to have as few corners as necessary to maximize airflow. The heat shield is designed to both protect the air filter from engine bay heat, and to redirect cold air into your truck’s engine. Additionally, the heat shield is finished in a black powder coat for additional corrosion resistance.
Hassle-Free, No-Mod Install Procedure. The Edge Jammer Cold Air Intake bolts-on directly to your Jeep’s factory air system location without needing modifications. All the necessary installation hardware is included, for a hassle-free installation.
A 1-Year Limited Warranty Backing. The Edge Jammer Cold Air Intake is backed by a 1-year limited warranty backing workmanship defects. Please visit the manufacturer’s website for more details.
Not CARB-Certified. The Edge Jammer Cold Air Intake is not CARB-certified at this time, making its use illegal in California and all states that have adopted CARB certification. Please do check local laws for permitted applications of this cold air intake.
