      Description

      Dual-Purpose Protection. The DV8 Offroad Xtract Hitch Skid Plate in black combines durable skid plate protection with a reliable recovery point for off-road vehicles. It mounts directly to any 2” standard hitch receiver, guarding the hitch receiver from trail damage while providing a secure attachment point for recovery D-rings rated to a 13,000lb working load limit.

      Construction and Appearance. Crafted from premium 6061-T6 billet aluminum, the skid plate features a single-piece design to maximize strength and durability. The black finish adds a sleek look while protecting the metal from corrosion. It includes a replaceable Delrin pad to reduce friction, with an optional upgrade to an aluminum pad for enhanced ruggedness.

      Installation. Installation requires no drilling, as the skid plate mounts directly to a 2” hitch receiver using a ?” hitch pin (pin not included). This straightforward process is designed for quick mounting on most compatible vehicles.

      Warranty. This hitch skid plate is backed by a one-year limited warranty against defects in workmanship and materials.

      Application. Fits most vehicles with a 2” hitch receiver; some adaptation may be required. It is not compatible with 2.5” hitches commonly found on heavier trucks, and certain hitches with gussets may prevent proper fitment.
