Increase Airflow for More Power. Improve the performance of your JL Wrangler by upgrading to a Corsa Donaldson PowerCore Closed Box Air Intake System. By replacing your Jeep's restrictive factory intake and paper air filter with Corsa's closed air box and free flowing Donaldson PowerCore Dry Filter assembly you will see an increase in horsepower, torque and acceleration. Corsa designed their Intake to improve air flow and reduce intake temperatures which will help your 3.6L engine make more usable power as well as increase its fuel economy. A Corsa Donaldson PowerCore Closed Box Air Intake is perfect for all Wrangler owners that are looking to give their Jeep a boost in performance.
Closed Air Box Design. Corsa engineered their Closed Air Box Intake with two objectives in mind, to increase airflow and reduce intake temperatures. This Corsa Intake was specifically designed to increase the volume of air entering in to the engine to increase performance. This closed air box is also better able to insulate the cooler incoming air from under hood heat soak, effectively reducing air intake temperatures when compared to open element intakes. Corsa Performance proudly designs and manufactures their Closed Air Box Intake Systems right here in the USA.
Donaldson PowerCore® Air Filter. The included Donaldson PowerCore® Air Filter was specially engineered to increase airflow while removing up to 99.99% of the dirt, dust, and debris that can cause engine damage. Furthermore, the filter does not require maintenance and is good for up to 4-years or 100,000 miles. To extend the life of the filter remove it from the vehicle and tap gentle on a hard surface or lightly vacuum the filter surface. Do not wash or oil as this will permanently damage the filter.
No Tune Required. Corsa Performance engineered their Cold Air Intake to improve the performance of your Jeep Wrangler without the need of reprogramming your computer. By utilizing flow dynamics, this Intake will increase power using the original factory tune. Even though a re-tune is not required for operation, ExtremeTerrain recommends a custom tune to reprogram the vehicles computer (ECU) to get the best possible performance from this Cold Air Intake.
Straight Forward Installation. Designed to be a direct fit replacement for the factory intake this Corsa Closed Box Cold Air Intake installs with just basic hand tools. No extra modifications or special tools are required for an easy 1 hour installation. All necessary parts and instructions are included.
Not CARB Certified. This Corsa Performance Closed Box Air Intake is not CARB certified, therefore it is not legal for use in California or other states adopting California emission standards. Not legal for use on pollution controlled motor vehicles; not intended for highway use.
