This design works to deflect flying debris away from your hood while also giving the component a streamlined style. More significantly, this hood guard’s durable construction provides adequate protection against scratches and dings caused by kicked-up debris.
Durable Build Quality. This hood stone guard is made from high-quality TPO, providing exceptional durability and resistance to deterioration and fading. Additionally, this hood guard is molded to exact specifications, ensuring a clean OE-fit and finish when installed. Finally, this component is available in a stylish matte black surface finish.
Easy Install Procedure. This Bushwacker hood stone guard mounts onto the leading edge of your hood using 3M automotive-grade double-sided adhesive tape for an easy peel-and-stick install. Before installation, the mounting areas should first be thoroughly cleaned before wiping down with a clean rag moistened with alcohol. This is to maximize the adhesion of the tape to your truck. Also when installing this component in cold weather, it is suggested that you first warm the mounting surface to about 60 degrees as the adhesive works best on warm surfaces. This could be done using a heat gun or hairdryer.
