      Description

      High-Performance Torque Converter. The B&M Holeshot 3000 Torque Converter for the A727 automatic transmission is engineered to improve vehicle acceleration by launching at a higher RPM range, making it well-suited for engines with performance modifications such as big camshafts. It enhances power delivery for quicker off-the-line response without sacrificing engine durability.

      Construction and Appearance. Built from durable steel with furnace brazed impeller fins and turbine, this torque converter features a new precision alloy steel impeller hub and heavy-duty needle bearings. It is fully balanced and pressure tested to ensure consistent performance and reliable operation over time.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling, designed to fit transmissions with a 24-spline input and a 10-inch bolt circle. It is recommended to install a transmission cooler to manage the increased heat generated by the higher stall speed.

      Application and Fitment. This torque converter is designed to fit 1980-1981 Jeep CJ7 models equipped with the A727 automatic transmission. It is not recommended for use with supercharged engines, plate-type nitrous oxide systems, or applications involving a trans-brake.
