Designed for enthusiasts seeking a balance of street performance and durability, this package combines a powerful carbureted engine with a strong manual transmission for smooth shifting and engagement. It’s ideal for freshening up a muscle car or restoration project with modern reliability.
Construction and Appearance. This engine features a high-strength cast iron block with enhanced deck thickness and strength webbing, finished with a painted oil pan for a clean look. The rotating assembly is precision machined and balanced, including hypereutectic pistons and a cast crankshaft. The aluminum cylinder heads incorporate large valves and optimized chambers for efficient airflow. The polished front accessory drive adds a refined touch while housing quality components such as an alternator, power steering pump, and A/C compressor.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill. No major drilling is necessary, but verifying fitment clearance for accessories such as power steering hoses and wiring is recommended. This assembled package ships ready to bolt in, simplifying engine swaps or upgrades.
