The BedRug BedTred Tailgate Mat is the tailgate mat that provides the look, feel, and protection of a spray-on bed liner without its tedious installation. Specifically, this tailgate mat features a rugged top TPO layer and a cushion-like polypropylene backing. These layers combine to provide effective scratch and minor impact protection as well as heat and noise insulation while also providing a stylish look. These features also make this mat an ideal choice for refurbishing your scratched tailgate.
Rugged Build Quality. This tailgate mat is manufactured from a dual-layer sheet of bed liner-like TPO and sturdy but pliable polypropylene, making this extremely resistant to damage and deterioration. This sheet is then machine-cut to exact specifications, offering an accurate fit when installed. Lastly, this component comes in black, providing your tailgate with a stylish look.
Uncomplicated Install Procedure. Installing this tailgate mat is a fairly uncomplicated procedure as this uses the included self-adhesive hook and loop strips for installation. Before installation, it advised you first thoroughly wash and dry the mounting areas before wiping down with a clean rag moistened with alcohol. Moreover, this hook and loop attachment method allows you to remove the mat for cleaning which consists of washing with mild soap and water.
