Description
Universal Diagnostic Splitter. The Banks Power Universal OBD-II Splitter with a right-angle plug is designed to allow users to connect two OBD-II devices simultaneously to the vehicle's diagnostic port. This enables the use of multiple compatible Banks accessories, such as tuners and retractable power steps, without the need to unplug one device to use another, enhancing convenience and functionality.
Construction and Appearance. The splitter features a right-angle plug for minimal interference during installation. It is not intended to be used simultaneously with Banks devices and third-party OBD monitors, as most engine control modules will only communicate with a single diagnostic device at a time. Using a splitter may cause the ECM to choose between devices, which can result in one device not functioning properly.
