This ATS Diesel NAG1 TruLok Torque Convertor is an excellent option, featuring several benefits that significantly improve performance and longevity.
Extends Transmissions Fluid Life. In stock form, your Jeep’s NAG1 transmission is equipped with a constant slip torque converter. While not genuinely detrimental in stock form, the factory torque converter clutch can slip excessively with any modifications. Especially under load, this slippage results in excessive heat and clutch material in the trans fluid, significantly diminishing the lifespan of the transmission fluid and, therefore, the transmission. In contrast, the ATS torque converter features a heavy-duty carbon composite lock-up clutch and modified stall speed, reducing converter slip to extend the life of your transmission and fluid.
Upgraded Internals. This Torque Converter is built to perform, featuring upgraded Torrington bearings, a hardened pump hub, and hardened turbine splines that drastically improve its durability.
