Precise Construction. The Artec Industries Front Inner Fenders Vented will not only protect your engine compartment from unwanted dirt and debris, but do so in a rugged type of way. These lightweight fenders are crafted from CNC laser cut and bent 1/16-inch aluminum for a strong construction and precise fitment. They are shipped in bare unfinished aluminum for decreased cost and to grant you the ability for you to paint it to suit your tastes. Artec's inner fenders also feature proprietary A-blade stamping process for increased rigidity and mackdaddy status that your Jeep deserves.
Strategic Style. This version of Artec's inner fenders are vented using a laser cutting process. Vented fenders mean no extra pieces of metal to bolt on. They can easily be trimmed for use with coilovers or bumpstops without ruining the vented area. These fenders cover the gap between the outer body sheetmetal and inner body sheetmetal on your Jeep. The extra bottom flange directly behind wheel also helps to prevent grime from getting inside the gaps in the undercarriage.
Compatibility. These inner fenders are compatible with trimmed OEM feders and allow for the use of larger tires without any rubbing issues. This version was particularly tested with no lift and 37-inch tires and experienced no such problem.
Moderate Installation. This installation requires some light to moderate mechanical skill to perform, as drilling is necessary. Once you remove the inner fender braces, you will need to drill and install the rivet nuts to fasten the inner fenders to the vehicle. From there, you will be installing the fenders from the back portion to the front. Total install time is estimated at around 2 hours.
Application. The Artec Industries Front Inner Fenders - Vented will fit all 2018-2023 Jeep Wrangler JL.
Notes. Mounts to OEM holes on subframe plus additional holes to be drilled. See instuctions for hole locations to determine if modification will be necessary to install with aftermarket fenders. While aluminum is rust resistant, it is recommended to have some type of coating for long term corrosion protection.
