Description
HIGH-STRENGTH AXLE TRUSS. The Artec Industries 1-Ton APEX Front Superduty Axle Swap Kit is engineered to provide superior axle protection and enhanced vehicle capability. This bracket-only kit is designed to reinforce the vehicle's front axle assembly for added strength and durability under demanding conditions while ensuring precise fitment.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. Manufactured using in-house CNC laser cutting from ¼" and 3/16” mild steel, the kit balances strength and weight savings. It uses detailed 3D models from Dana Corp and OEM vehicle data to guarantee proper fit and clearance. The design features dimpled holes that reduce weight while increasing rigidity, and the truss contours to the cast steel differential for a seamless integration. The overall finish maintains an industrial, functional aesthetic.
INSTALLATION. Installation involves a reinforced truss system that is designed to drop into place for welding. It requires approximately 70% less welding than previous designs, which helps reduce warping and shorten assembly time. This kit is intended for skilled DIYers or professional installers comfortable with welding. Note that this bracket kit does not include ABS sensor components, and minor trimming may be required depending on specific vehicle configurations.
APPLICATION. This axle swap kit fits Jeep Wrangler JK, JL, and Jeep Gladiator JT models from 1999 through 2026. Multiple upper control arm mount styles are available, including adjustable truss mounts, RockJock Johnny Joints, and Daystar Bushings, providing options for different suspension setups.
