Description
HIGH-STRENGTH DRAG LINK ASSEMBLY. The Apex Chassis 2.5-Ton Drag Link Assembly without Flip Kit; Black Aluminum is designed as a complete replacement part for steering systems on Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT models. It serves as a critical component in the steering linkage, enhancing durability and precise handling by preventing unwanted rotation and loosening of jam nuts over time.
CONSTRUCTION AND APPEARANCE. This assembly features a SAE 1045 solid steel forged housing machined with CNC precision for perfect dimensions. It incorporates SAE 4140 hot forged chromoly ball studs that are induction heat treated and utilize rolled threads for added strength. The drag link ends have a rugged metal-to-metal bearing design, are finished with durable e-coating, and include CR rubber accordion boots for longevity and flexibility. The adjusting sleeve is black anodized aluminum for corrosion resistance and aesthetic appeal.
INSTALLATION. Installation is straightforward and designed to fit stock Dana 30 and Dana 44 front axles in standard, undermount configurations without axle modifications or drilling. The assembly includes pre-threaded zerk fittings and is pre-greased for easy maintenance.
WARRANTY. This product includes a lifetime warranty covering manufacturer defects and premature wear when properly installed and used on the specified vehicle.
APPLICATION. Specifically engineered to fit the 2018 through 2026 Jeep Wrangler JL and the 2019 through 2026 Jeep Gladiator JT models.
