Hey, guys. So, today, we're checking out the Alterum Color Changing LED Cup Holder Lights with the American Flag Logo, fitting all 2007 and newer JK and JL Wranglers. So if you're looking for some small, affordable accents for the inside of your cab area while also having some accents that are functional, this option by Alterum is going to be a great choice to take a look into.Now, this kit is going to consist of two inserts that fit right at the bottom of your cup holder, and they're gonna have that American flag stamped right on the front which will add some patriotic styling to the inside of your Jeep. Now, as it says in the name, these are also going to light up which will be extra helpful at night, adding a little guide or a night light for the inside of your cab area while also adding some extra style in the meantime.As you can see, these are gonna have a nice mirrored finish with that American flag logo, and these will offer seven different colors and a couple of different functions so they can fit your personal style or your personal preference whenever they light up inside your JK or your JL.Now, what I do really like about this kit is the fact that these are completely wireless. All you have to do is charge them up and pop them right into your cup holder. Now, they also are going to save battery because they will be off in the daytime, and they're gonna have a little sensor so as soon as it gets dark, these will illuminate in whatever function or color that you would like them to be in.Now, when it comes to the pricing, these are going to come in at roughly $25, and I personally think for the functions and what's included in the kit that this is well worth that price point. Now, in comparison to other options available on the page, this is going to be very unique in comparison to some of the other choices for interior lighting.Now, you may see interior lighting on the page for the inside of the JK and/or the JL, however, they're usually gonna be located in a different spot and there's not really gonna be a lot of options available for cup holder inserts especially ones that are wireless. So, again, I think if you are looking for something small, affordable, and functional for the inside of your JK or your JL, then this is gonna be right up your alley.Now, as far as the install is concerned, I'm gonna give this a very easy one out of three wrenches, taking you about one minute to get these installed. So, speaking for the install, let's jump into that now.So the first step of this install is the charge your lights or your inserts. There is a micro USB port down at the bottom. Once you plug these into a power source, it will illuminate in whatever color is chosen for the first one. And then once it is done charging, it will turn off and it will look just like this. So once you're finished with that, you can unplug and we can flip it over. You're gonna have an on and an off button. It's gonna be one button. We're gonna hold that for about five seconds. You'll see it flash. Obviously, we're doing this in the daytime so when it is light out, these aren't going to illuminate, but if you cover this sensor with your finger, you can kinda go through the settings and check it out.Now, this is the setting that is going to through all of the colors and kinda rotate through, but if you wanna change this setting, you can just quickly press the back and you'll be able to flip through all of the functions.So this option here is the blue breathing function. This going to have the same function for all seven colors, and you can flip through them. Once again, we'll have green, purple, yellow, light blue, and then there is one that kinda goes through all of the colors here. Then you have some just solid colors options as well. And you can change everything by this button on the back. But once you've figured out what setting that you want to set it at and what your preferred function is, what we're gonna is pop these in our cup holders.So once you're inside the Jeep and maybe dark enough that the light will illuminate, but at this point, all we have to do just pop this to the bottom of our cup holder, and you're all good to go.So that's gonna wrap it up for my review and install.
