Increases Torque and Horsepower. Let cleaner and cooler air flow into your Tundra with this Airaid Cold Air Dam Intake With SynthaFlow Oiled Filter. This air intake features a large air inlet, which breathes in larger amounts of clean and cool air for more horsepower and torque. What’s more, the huge improvement in airflow also improves your truck’s throttle response and fuel efficiency. Lastly, the Cold Air Dam panels help deliver cool air to the engine by blocking the hot air coming from the engine bay.
No Tuning Needed. It isn’t necessary to have a custom tune after installing this air intake system. However, it’s still highly recommended. Getting a custom tune to reprogram the ECU ensures that all your truck’s upgrades will work smoothly and perfectly together.
SynthaFlow Cotton and Non-Woven Synthetic Filter. This cold air intake uses an Airaid SynthaFlow oiled filter made from cotton gauze and non-woven synthetic material. This 360-degree, cone-shaped filter is less restrictive than traditional paper ones and lasts so much longer. It can also be washed and reused multiple times, which means lower costs of maintenance.
High-Density Polyethylene Air Inlet. For this air intake’s inlet tube, Airaid chose high-density polyethylene or HDPE. HDPE is lightweight, but exceptionally strong, and it can also withstand extreme temperatures of up to 248°F. What’s more, because it’s plastic, corrosion is definitely not a major concern. Meanwhile, to make it even easier for cool and clean air to reach the engine, this air intake features Cold Air Dam panels. These help block the hot air coming from the engine bay.
Direct Bolt-On Installation. There’s no need for cutting, drilling, or welding to install this cold air intake. All you need are the enclosed mounting hardware and basic hand tools to mount this kit directly to your vehicle. The process can take more or less an hour to complete.
Backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. This cold air intake system comes with a limited lifetime warranty from Airaid. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with customer service if you have any questions or clarifications regarding the warranty coverage and policies.
No CARB Certificate. This Airaid product doesn’t have a CARB Certificate. It’s not legal for sale or use in California and states that have adopted California’s emission procedures.
