What’s more, this hood scoop features separate grille and scoop sections, giving you excellent customization options.
Durable Build Quality. This hood scoop assembly is manufactured from premium ABS plastic for superior durability and resistance to deterioration. Additionally, this assembly is crafted to exact specifications using a high-tech machine-forming process, offering an accurate fit when installed. Meanwhile, its satin black finish offers a sleek style that can also be re-painted to color-match your truck. What’s more, this component’s 2-piece design enables you to re-finish each section separately for a truly customized style.
Uncomplicated Install Procedure. This hood scoop is designed to mount onto your hood using a combination of 3M automotive-grade, double-sided adhesive and the included polyurethane adhesive. Please thoroughly clean and dry the mounting surfaces before wiping them down with a clean rag moistened alcohol or acetone. This is to promote complete adhesion of the adhesive to the mounting surfaces. Also, please warm-up your hood to about 60 degrees Fahrenheit when installing during winter months as the adhesive is more effective on warm surfaces. This can be done using a heat gun, hairdryer, or by letting your engine run for a few minutes. Lastly, please paint this assembly before installation to make the process more efficient.
