      Description

      Extreme Duty Axle Protection. The AFE Pro Series Rear Differential Cover with Machined Fins is built to handle the harshest off-road conditions while improving cooling and axle longevity. Designed for 1997–2018 Jeep Wrangler TJ and JK models, this cover offers increased fluid capacity and rugged durability—ideal for trail rigs, overlanders, and rock crawlers needing extra protection and performance.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from heavy-duty nodular (ductile) iron, this 14-pound differential cover is engineered for maximum strength and impact resistance. The black powder-coated finish is complemented by precision-machined cooling fins and an aFe Power logo for a bold, performance-inspired look. Recessed bolt design reduces the risk of snagging on rocks, while a machined O-ring groove ensures a reliable, leak-free seal.

      Installation. Installation is considered hard due to the precision fitment and fluid handling requirements. It includes a magnetic drain plug, deep-reach internal magnet for metal debris, and a 1/8” NPT calibration plug to prevent overfilling. Professional installation is recommended for best results.
