Description
Precision Differential Protection. The AEV Dana M220 Rear Differential Cover is engineered to enhance and protect the rear axle of Jeep Gladiator JT and qualifying Jeep JL Wrangler vehicles equipped with the Dana M220 rear axle. It acts as a durable shield for the differential, maintaining proper fluid levels and ensuring optimal gear performance during both off-road and on-road driving. The oversized fill plug also functions as an inspection port, facilitating easier maintenance and damage prevention.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from high-strength nodular iron, this differential cover delivers durability and toughness. It is finished with an e-coating and powder coating for excellent corrosion resistance and a rugged aesthetic suitable for heavy-duty use. The design includes a reinforced bottom edge with recessed hardware to add strength and protect against impacts.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and typically completed within approximately one hour. The cover replaces the stock differential cover with a simple bolt-on design, requiring no drilling or complex modifications.
