The mandrel-bent aluminum inlet tube lets more air into the engine, increasing your truck’s torque and horsepower output. What’s more, this cold air intake can also help boost your engine’s overall efficiency. This results, among others, in better fuel economy.

      No Custom Tune Needed. AEM made sure that this cold air intake will work with your vehicle’s factory tune. Still, it’s ideal to get a custom tune to reprogram the ECU to get the best possible performance. A custom tune is also recommended if you have multiple upgrades installed.

      AEM Dryflow Non-Woven Synthetic Filter. This cold air intake comes with AEM’s cylinder-shaped Dryflow filter, which is made from an oil-free, non-woven synthetic material. The filter media can last for up to 100,000 miles (depending on driving frequency and environments), after which you can simply wash and reuse it. This helps drive down maintenance and replacement costs.

      Mandrel-Bent 6061 Aluminum Inlet Tube. To ensure a smooth, unobstructed airflow, this cold air intake features a mandrel-bent, 6061 aluminum inlet pipe. The choice of material ensures top-notch strength and durability, which is further enhanced by a lustrous, polished-surface finish. To keep the intake air cool, this system also comes with a powder-coated heat shield. The shield sits right after the inlet tube to protect the filter.

      Quick and Easy Installation. AEM engineered this cold air intake system for a direct bolt-on installation, without any welding, drilling, or cutting required. This kit also comes with all the necessary hardware, including TIG-welded brackets. The total installation time is approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour.

      Comes With a Limited Lifetime Warranty. This cold air intake system is covered by AEM’s limited lifetime warranty against material and workmanship defects. If you need more details or have any questions about the warranty terms and conditions, please contact the manufacturer.

      Doesn’t Have a CARB Certificate. This particular AEM cold air intake doesn’t have a CARB certification. It can’t be sold or used legally in California and all states that adopt California’s emission procedures.
