This cold air intake is engineered to increase power and torque numbers, as well as improve the throttle response, to give your Gladiator the capability to tackle tougher off-road terrain. This is achieved by utilizing a free-flowing design and less restrictive air filter that delivers large amounts of cold air into your engine. The result is a more complete fuel combustion to enable your Jeep to perform better in any driving condition.
ECU Re-Tuning Not Required. This closed box cold air intake provides performance gains courtesy of its unique design. Best of all, it doesn't require you to re-tune your ECU. However, re-tuning your ECU in the future will always be beneficial to your vehicle, as this will optimize this intake’s performance with your vehicle’s engine.
Efficient and High-Flow MaxFlow 5 Oiled Filter. This cold air intake features the MaxFlow 5 oiled air filter. This air filter’s multi-layer cotton gauze filter media is arranged with deep pleats to improve its surface area. This design offers both high filtering efficiency and less restrictive airflow, ensuring only clean air is delivered to your engine. Additionally, this oiled air filter cleans using just mild soap and water and is recharged with appropriate filter oil.
Heavy-Grade Build Quality. The cold air intake’s air inlet tube is precision molded from heat resistant black polyethylene to provide a turbulence-free inner structure. Its airbox is also precision molded from high-grade polyethylene, keeping the air filter protected from engine bay heat and extending its service life. What’s more, a clear sight window on the top of the air box enables you to check on the condition of the air filter without disassembly.
Practical Install Procedure. This Volant cold air intake installs into your Jeep’s factory air intake location without the need for drilling or other modifications to your vehicle. Also, installation is completed using just standard hand tools.
CARB Certification Pending. This Volant Closed Box Cold Air Intake with MaxFlow 5 Oiled Filter cold air intake is not available for use in California or other states that have adopted CARB standards. Please check local laws for applications where this product is permitted
