      Description

      Performance External Wastegate. The Turbosmart Gen4 HyperGate45 External Wastegate, 14 PSI, Black, is designed to regulate turbocharger boost pressure by diverting excess exhaust gases away from the turbine wheel. Ideal for street vehicles requiring reliable boost control without motorsport intensity, it offers robust flow and heat resistance suitable for pump fuel and E85 applications, enhancing engine performance and longevity.

      Construction and Appearance. This wastegate features a stainless steel cast body combined with an aluminium actuator housing, ensuring durability and excellent heat resistance. The valve is a solid piece of stainless steel, and the diaphragm is made from proprietary high-temperature silicon Nomex material. Finished in black, it includes a unique locking collar design and V-Band inlet and outlet flanges engineered for peer fitment to 44/46mm connections.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward with supplied V-band clamps and weld flanges, requiring minimal modification. No drilling is necessary, and the supplied locking collar tool facilitates spring changes and maintenance.
