Description
Customized Damping Performance. These Teraflex Falcon SP2 3.3 Fast Adjust Piggyback Front and Rear Shocks for 0 to 1.50-Inch Lift are shock absorbers designed for customized damping performance. These front and rear shocks utilize a monotube piggyback reservoir configuration to deliver faster damping performance and more accurate handling control. Moreover, these shocks come outfitted with high-tech Fast Adjust knobs featuring three “macro”, and eight “micro” adjustment levels. This setup permits you to fine-tune the shocks’ parameters to give you customized damping performance to match the terrain you’re on.
Proprietary Mode Adjust Technology. These shocks are also outfitted with proprietary SP2 Mode Adjust technology. This technology works by allowing you to adjust the ride quality simply by rotating the piston shafts when fully extended. Specifically, a counter-clockwise rotation sets the shocks’ ride quality to soft which is similar to stock. Rotate the shaft clockwise and you get a stiffer performance-oriented ride. What’s more, this technology does not affect the settings of the Fast Adjust knobs, essentially giving you a wider range of damping responses to choose from.
Brawny Build Quality. These front and rear shocks’ use shock bodies precision-crafted premium from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy. This construction provides optimum strength and corrosion resistance as well as efficient heat dissipation for consistent performance. Additionally, the piston shafts are machined from chrome-hardened steel for exceptional durability. Meanwhile, metal roost guards help keep the rear piston shafts protected against kicked-up debris. Finally, these dampers receive a gray anodized finish for style and corrosion protection.
Straightforward Install Procedure. These shocks are designed to install into your Gladiator’s factory shock locations without the need for drilling or welding. You will, however, need to trim out a section of your inner fender liners to ensure an ideal fit. Apart from this step, installation is pretty straightforward and requires just standard hand tools.
