Description
Advanced Damping Performance. Provide your lifted Gladiator with advanced damping performance with these Teraflex Falcon SP2 3.1 Piggyback Front and Rear Shocks for 2 to 3-Inch Lift. These front and rear shocks combine a monotube style with a piggyback reservoir to give your vehicle a quicker damping response. This translates to precise handling when driving off-road. Likewise, their piggyback reservoirs ensure reliable fade-free performance even through rapid shock cycles. Moreover, these shocks deliver a firm but smooth highway ride quality, making them ideal for daily-driven vehicles that regularly go off-road.
Innovative Mode Adjust Technology. These shocks are also equipped with the SP2 Mode Adjust technology. This unique and innovative technology permits you to transform your ride quality by rotating the piston shafts when fully extended. A counter-clockwise rotation gives you a softer ride quite similar to stock. Rotate the shafts clockwise, however, and you get a performance-style ride quality that gets rid of body roll. This performance-level ride is great if you’re looking for more precise control.
Robust Build Quality. These dampers’ shock bodies are precision-crafted from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy for optimum durability and ideal corrosion resistance, as well as efficient heat dissipation. Additionally, the piston shafts are machine-formed from chrome-hardened steel, providing exceptional strength for all your driving adventures. The rear shocks also include a pair of metal roost guards that keeps the piston rods protected against kicked-up debris. Finally, these shocks come with a gray anodized finish, offering rugged looks and maximum corrosion protection.
Practical Install Procedure. Installing these shocks is a fairly practical process that does not require any drilling or other modifications to your Gladiator. You may however need to trim a portion of your fender liners to achieve an ideal fit. Also, installation requires just standard hand tools to complete.
