Description
Superior Shock Upgrade for All-Around Adventures. These Teraflex Falcon SP2 3.1 Piggyback Front and Rear Shocks for 0 to 1.50-Inch Lift are what you want if you’re looking for all-around shock performance. Specifically, these front and rear shocks employ a monotube piggyback shock design that provides more immediate damping response with reduced likelihood of fade. This translates to accurate handling and improved control when driving off-road. On the highway, these shocks provide a firm but smooth ride quality so you never lose your Gladiator’s daily drivability.
Cutting Edge Mode Adjust Technology. These shocks also utilize cutting edge SP2 Mode Adjust technology that’s engineered to provide a smooth or performance-style ride quality just by turning the piston shafts at full extension. How this system works is you first fully extend the shafts and then turn them 360 degrees clock or counter-clockwise. Turning them clockwise gives you the performance ride which minimizes body roll while improving control. A counter-clockwise turn on the other hand delivers a soft ride quality that‘s close to stock. This way you’re able to experience a ride quality to match your needs.
High-Strength Build Quality. These components utilize shock bodies machined from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy for maximum durability and excellent corrosion resistance, as well as ideal heat dissipation. The piston shafts for their part are similarly machined from chrome-hardened steel, making these exceptionally strong. Meanwhile a pair of metal roost guards is included with the rear shocks, providing additional piston shaft protection against damage. Rounding out their construction is a gray anodized finish for awesome looks and superior corrosion protection.
Convenient Install Procedure. These shocks are designed to mount onto your Gladiator’s factory damper locations. No additional drilling or other modifications are needed save for minor trimming of the inner fender liners. Moreover, installation is finished using just standard hand tools.
