Description

The Steer Smarts Yeti XD Sector Shaft Brace with Frame Side Track Bar Reinforcement Bracket is engineered to strengthen and stabilize the steering system by reducing flex and unwanted movement in the aluminum steering gear. Installed on the frame's track bar mount, it also reinforces this critical junction to withstand high stress and off-road demands, contributing to improved vehicle handling and reliability.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from laser-cut steel with a 1/4" wall thickness, the bracket features a robust 1/2" steel sector support fitted with a sealed roller bearing for durability. It is finished with an e-coat to provide corrosion resistance, ensuring long-lasting performance and a clean, professional appearance.
Installation. This product offers a straightforward bolt-on installation requiring only basic hand tools and minimal modification, suitable for those with intermediate mechanical skills. Installation time is typically between 45 minutes to 1 hour.
Application. Designed specifically for 20-26 Jeep Gladiator JT models equipped with an aluminum steering box. Note that it is not compatible with vehicles using a drop pitman arm and may face clearance issues with some aftermarket track bars, especially those manufactured by Rough Country and CORE4X4.
