    Review & Install Video

This Rugged Ridge All Terrain Cargo Liner is for those of you that have a 2011 and up JK, and are looking to protect that rear cargo area of your Jeep when you're throwing some muddy, messy, dirty stuff in the back of your JK. You certainly don't wanna mess up that carpeting in the back of the Jeep, and this is going to be a lot easier to clean than the carpet will. This is going to fit in both your four-door and in your two-door JK, and whether or not you have a sub in that rear cargo area, you are going to be able to use this. But if you do have that sub, you'll have to do a little bit of trimming in this corner here, which we've cut out. This is going to be a high-quality cargo liner, but it is going to be a little bit less expensive than some of those more premium brands out there on the market. So if you're looking for something that's middle of the road as far as pricing, but is still going to get the job done, then I think this is going to be a really nice option. This cargo liner is made out of a thermoplastic material, so it's gonna hold up really well and it's also going to give you a nonskid surface. Helping with that nonskid surface, you have this Chevron design molded directly into the cargo liner. A lot of the other companies will use a diamond-plate pattern. I like these Chevrons, they are a little bit different. And of course, with all of these mats, you are going to get a side molded on them so that if you have any wet messes in the cargo liner, the sides are going to help retain that. Now down in this area where you do have the opportunity to cut out if you have a subwoofer in the rear cargo area of your JK, you are not going to have as tall of a side over there. And over in this area, also, you have a little bit of a lower side. So, you may get a little bit of spillage over this side if you have a lot of moisture on the cargo mat. And again, that's where some of those premium mats come into play. They are gonna be a little bit more expensive, but they are gonna have some taller sides. So depending on what you plan on hauling in your Jeep, one of those might be a better option if you have the budget for it. This is, of course, a very simple, one-out-of-three-wrench installation. I hesitate to call it an installation at all. You'll be able to get this installed in about five minutes or less. And only five minutes if you do have that subwoofer in the back of your Jeep and you have to do that little bit of trimming. This does come pre-marked right out of the package exactly where you have to make those cuts if you have that subwoofer. And you can do it with a sharp razor knife or using just a pair of scissors. Once you've made that cut, if you need to, you simply drop this into place and you're finished. This is very, very simple. This mat's gonna run you right around $75, and that is going to be a little bit less than some of those premium brands out there. For instance, the WeatherTech liners are going to be a little bit more expensive, and you are going to get a little bit of a higher side on those WeatherTech. But again, depending on what you plan on hauling, this is still going to do a really nice job of protecting the back area of your Jeep. Also, make it look a little bit more finished and give you a nonskid surface to set items on. So if you're looking for a quality cargo liner at a fair price, I definitely recommend taking a look at this one from Rugged Ridge that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.

The two previous questions asked about the JK with a subwoofer contradict each other. As of 5/24/17- Is this liner compatible with a JK with the subwoofer in the floor?

    Lulu

    • The Rugged Ridge All Terrain Cargo Liner can be used with JK's with a subwoofer but trimming in designated areas is required to accommodate the factory subwoofer.

does the liner fit with the rear seat still in the vehicle, or just without it?

    BillL

    • The Rugged Ridge All Terrain Cargo Liner extends to cover the rear cargo area where the rear seat would be but you have the option to remove the seats and have that whole area covered or have the seats installed and still be able to utilize the cargo liner. The cargo liner has cut outs you could utilize to accommodate the rear seat.

This Rugged Ridge cargo liner shows the cut out for the sub woofer to right rear cargo area. The newer two door wranglers have the sub woofer in the center of the floor in the rear cargo area. I have called on this before its my understanding that this does not accommodate that sub woofer. You are saying it does. Could someone please verify that it does or doesn't. Mine is a 2016 JK 2 door. Thanks

    Dan

    • Hello, if you have the Sub-woofer in the center on the floor, this Cargo mat will no working for you.

How does this product work with the in floor sub woofer on the 2016 JK?

    Zosorocket

    • Hello, the Rugged Ridge All Terrain Cargo Liner - Black (11-17 Wrangler JK) comes with a section that is traced, so you can cut on that location to be able to accommodate the In Floor Sub Woofer.

      easy install

Yep just throw it in the back after removing the rear seat. Now can throw my fly fishing waders and wet items into the back, at end of days fishing and not worry about getting my rear rugs soiled or wet.

      Great mat.

Cut out holes so I could strap stuff down. Blurped oil and transmission fluid all over it, washed it off, protected the interior well.

      Did not fit!!! Can't return

It has all the cutouts to fit a JK 2 door. After the cuts are made and it is put in place, the seat is installed but it will not latch down in rear. So the seat folds forward. They would be glad to return but it was cut so they wont!!!

      Great product

Super easy install and quality material. I do with however that the cut outs for the seat brackets were more of a take off when seat is in and clip back on when it’s out just because the 4 holes don’t look good when the seat is removed but over all this is a good mat

      2011 2D JK

Well, this will not be the most exciting accessory for your Wrangler, but it does just as it's purpose suggests. Fit is good, and bang for your buck, it's a good value short of throwing a tarp or blanket down. My dog gave it her paw of approval once I put her dog bed on top of the liner. It helps keep the debris she tracks in contained, and when she is a sloppy drinker, contains the spills. I would buy it again. No installation instructions necessary. 2011 2D JK with the rear seat removed.

      Looks good Fits OK

If you are using this with no rear seat then it will fit great. If you are trying to use this and the seat. Well it only fits ok. It is hard to get the seat to stay and you will need to use some force. It does look great and it does have a nice finish to it.

      Awesome!

I have a 2016 Jeep Wrangler two door. I recently took out my backseat and was looking for a liner for my now empty backseat area. This liner is very good and stays in place well. It covers all of the back area and towards the back of the liner, the sides go up to provide even more coverage. I have taken my dogs in the back of my Jeep and this liner is a huge help.

Rear area liner for 2Door JK

I am overall still happy with it but I had to cut a larger hole than outlined on the mat to get the seat to lock into place (spots where seat locks into floor. All the spots that were outlined on the mat had to be cut by me. Seems like they should have been already cut, or be able to order with or without cuts.
