This Rugged Ridge All Terrain Cargo Liner is for those of you that have a 2011 and up JK, and are looking to protect that rear cargo area of your Jeep when you're throwing some muddy, messy, dirty stuff in the back of your JK. You certainly don't wanna mess up that carpeting in the back of the Jeep, and this is going to be a lot easier to clean than the carpet will. This is going to fit in both your four-door and in your two-door JK, and whether or not you have a sub in that rear cargo area, you are going to be able to use this. But if you do have that sub, you'll have to do a little bit of trimming in this corner here, which we've cut out. This is going to be a high-quality cargo liner, but it is going to be a little bit less expensive than some of those more premium brands out there on the market. So if you're looking for something that's middle of the road as far as pricing, but is still going to get the job done, then I think this is going to be a really nice option. This cargo liner is made out of a thermoplastic material, so it's gonna hold up really well and it's also going to give you a nonskid surface. Helping with that nonskid surface, you have this Chevron design molded directly into the cargo liner. A lot of the other companies will use a diamond-plate pattern. I like these Chevrons, they are a little bit different. And of course, with all of these mats, you are going to get a side molded on them so that if you have any wet messes in the cargo liner, the sides are going to help retain that. Now down in this area where you do have the opportunity to cut out if you have a subwoofer in the rear cargo area of your JK, you are not going to have as tall of a side over there. And over in this area, also, you have a little bit of a lower side. So, you may get a little bit of spillage over this side if you have a lot of moisture on the cargo mat. And again, that's where some of those premium mats come into play. They are gonna be a little bit more expensive, but they are gonna have some taller sides. So depending on what you plan on hauling in your Jeep, one of those might be a better option if you have the budget for it. This is, of course, a very simple, one-out-of-three-wrench installation. I hesitate to call it an installation at all. You'll be able to get this installed in about five minutes or less. And only five minutes if you do have that subwoofer in the back of your Jeep and you have to do that little bit of trimming. This does come pre-marked right out of the package exactly where you have to make those cuts if you have that subwoofer. And you can do it with a sharp razor knife or using just a pair of scissors. Once you've made that cut, if you need to, you simply drop this into place and you're finished. This is very, very simple. This mat's gonna run you right around $75, and that is going to be a little bit less than some of those premium brands out there. For instance, the WeatherTech liners are going to be a little bit more expensive, and you are going to get a little bit of a higher side on those WeatherTech. But again, depending on what you plan on hauling, this is still going to do a really nice job of protecting the back area of your Jeep. Also, make it look a little bit more finished and give you a nonskid surface to set items on. So if you're looking for a quality cargo liner at a fair price, I definitely recommend taking a look at this one from Rugged Ridge that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.

Effective Protection. The Rugged Ridge All Terrain Cargo Liner is carefully designed to fit and protect your jeep's cargo area. This Jeep Wrangler JK cargo liner has marked areas that can be cut out to accommodate seat belts. The raised knobs in its bottom hold the liner securely in place.

Easy Maintenance. With the Chevron-shaped tread pattern, this jeep floor liner easily channels dirt, mud or slush from the vehicle's floor allowing for easy maintenance. It is injection molded from Thermoplastic Elastomer material to provide a non-slip surface. This cargo liner is easy to clean and can be hosed off.

Trimming May Be Required. Depending on your model and whether your Jeep is equipped with a Subwoofer, some trimming to the Cargo Liner may be required. With the included instructions, Rugged Ridge illustrates where the necessary trimming is required.

Application. This black Rugged Ridge All Terrain Cargo Liner is designed to be used in all 2011-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Models.

The two previous questions asked about the JK with a subwoofer contradict each other. As of 5/24/17- Is this liner compatible with a JK with the subwoofer in the floor?

    • The Rugged Ridge All Terrain Cargo Liner can be used with JK's with a subwoofer but trimming in designated areas is required to accommodate the factory subwoofer.

does the liner fit with the rear seat still in the vehicle, or just without it?

    • The Rugged Ridge All Terrain Cargo Liner extends to cover the rear cargo area where the rear seat would be but you have the option to remove the seats and have that whole area covered or have the seats installed and still be able to utilize the cargo liner. The cargo liner has cut outs you could utilize to accommodate the rear seat.

This Rugged Ridge cargo liner shows the cut out for the sub woofer to right rear cargo area. The newer two door wranglers have the sub woofer in the center of the floor in the rear cargo area. I have called on this before its my understanding that this does not accommodate that sub woofer. You are saying it does. Could someone please verify that it does or doesn't. Mine is a 2016 JK 2 door. Thanks

    • Hello, if you have the Sub-woofer in the center on the floor, this Cargo mat will no working for you.

How does this product work with the in floor sub woofer on the 2016 JK?

    • Hello, the Rugged Ridge All Terrain Cargo Liner - Black (11-17 Wrangler JK) comes with a section that is traced, so you can cut on that location to be able to accommodate the In Floor Sub Woofer.

      Bad fit

The look is good but once I cut out the area for the hinges and put the rear seat back the seat wouldn't lock in place. So now I own a wonderful black mat for my garage.

      All Terrain Cargo Liner

Item came as described. It had easily identifiable markings on where to cut out for the rear seat bases. Is good thick material, yet was still easy enough to handle and put in place.

      Cargo mats

Great product. But be aware that you have to cut out holes for a two door if you want to use your rear seat

      Not worth it

To use with a 2dr you must remove the back seat all toghether. The mat slides easily as there are no nubs on the bottom to hold in place

      Simple but does the job

Perfect fit, and easy to cut out the subwoofer section if needed. The ridges on the bottom are a nice help. It has a bit of an odor and tackiness when first unraveled but that goes away within a few days.

      Great for the mud

Fit very well and was easy to use with and without the rear seats. Essential if you tend to get mud into the back like I do from a dog that likes to play in the mud. My only issue is that it tends to move around for me when I don't have the rear seats installed. It hasn't been that much of an issue though because it also makes it easy to remove for cleaning.

      Perfect!

This cargo liner is exactly what I needed! It fits perfectly in my 2015 JK 4 Door. Just slid right in and I can even access the secret compartment below without removing the cargo liner (its flexible and lifts right up!) Its a cheap price so I didn't expect a thick quality liner like the more expensive ones online. For the price, I think its a good durable material that is just a little flimsier than the more expensive brands, however it still looks very nice and definitely gets the job done! I have two large dogs and the hair and dirt can get pretty messy, but this cargo liner has made it so easy for me to just slide it out, shake it off and put it back in my Jeep with no residue in my trunk! Overall, I am satisfied with the product! Great cheap price for a very convenient addition to my Jeep!

      Rugged Ridge Cargo Liner

I had purchased another brand of floor liners for the interior and the cost was expensive. I didn’t have much extra money left so I tried Rugged Ridge As a cheaper alternative. I am glade I did. I saved a few $$ and it works and looks great. Fits perfectly with a quick guided scissor cut along a premarked line for my Jeep. Keeps my carpet clean and easy removal for cleanup. Wish i bought this when I purchased my Jeep.

      A liner that works

The liner looks good and works well. It has a good sized lip all around the edge to hold spills and debris within itself, as I found out the first time it was used for its protective purpose.. I would have liked it about 3" longer to protect closer to the back of the front seats in my 2 door Wrangler. It would also be nice if the factory could have designed the liner to stay in use while using the back seats. But overall it will do what its designed to do.

Nice but fit could be a little better.

I give it 4 stars, because it is made of a strong enough material, but it could fit it a little better and slides around too easily. It should have a nonstick material on bottom to improve it.
