      Review & Installation Video

This Rugged Ridge All Terrain Cargo Liner is for those of you that have a 2011 and up JK, and are looking to protect that rear cargo area of your Jeep when you're throwing some muddy, messy, dirty stuff in the back of your JK. You certainly don't wanna mess up that carpeting in the back of the Jeep, and this is going to be a lot easier to clean than the carpet will. This is going to fit in both your four-door and in your two-door JK, and whether or not you have a sub in that rear cargo area, you are going to be able to use this. But if you do have that sub, you'll have to do a little bit of trimming in this corner here, which we've cut out. This is going to be a high-quality cargo liner, but it is going to be a little bit less expensive than some of those more premium brands out there on the market. So if you're looking for something that's middle of the road as far as pricing, but is still going to get the job done, then I think this is going to be a really nice option. This cargo liner is made out of a thermoplastic material, so it's gonna hold up really well and it's also going to give you a nonskid surface. Helping with that nonskid surface, you have this Chevron design molded directly into the cargo liner. A lot of the other companies will use a diamond-plate pattern. I like these Chevrons, they are a little bit different. And of course, with all of these mats, you are going to get a side molded on them so that if you have any wet messes in the cargo liner, the sides are going to help retain that. Now down in this area where you do have the opportunity to cut out if you have a subwoofer in the rear cargo area of your JK, you are not going to have as tall of a side over there. And over in this area, also, you have a little bit of a lower side. So, you may get a little bit of spillage over this side if you have a lot of moisture on the cargo mat. And again, that's where some of those premium mats come into play. They are gonna be a little bit more expensive, but they are gonna have some taller sides. So depending on what you plan on hauling in your Jeep, one of those might be a better option if you have the budget for it. This is, of course, a very simple, one-out-of-three-wrench installation. I hesitate to call it an installation at all. You'll be able to get this installed in about five minutes or less. And only five minutes if you do have that subwoofer in the back of your Jeep and you have to do that little bit of trimming. This does come pre-marked right out of the package exactly where you have to make those cuts if you have that subwoofer. And you can do it with a sharp razor knife or using just a pair of scissors. Once you've made that cut, if you need to, you simply drop this into place and you're finished. This is very, very simple. This mat's gonna run you right around $75, and that is going to be a little bit less than some of those premium brands out there. For instance, the WeatherTech liners are going to be a little bit more expensive, and you are going to get a little bit of a higher side on those WeatherTech. But again, depending on what you plan on hauling, this is still going to do a really nice job of protecting the back area of your Jeep. Also, make it look a little bit more finished and give you a nonskid surface to set items on. So if you're looking for a quality cargo liner at a fair price, I definitely recommend taking a look at this one from Rugged Ridge that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.

        Nice cargo liner

I already had the Rugged ridge floor mats and ordered this Rugged Ridge cargo liner for the back. Just like the floor mats its a good product, well made and looks good. I have my back seat in so I removed the cutouts in the cargo liner so that it would work with or without my seat in. It was easy to cut the areas out since they are marked on the mat. The only issue I had was getting the rear seat to latch after installing the mat. The extra thickness of the rubber makes it harder to pull the seat down and latch it in place. Took a few tries but it finally latched. I would recommend this product.

Cargo Liner is Not Slip Resistant !

I had expected something that was rubberized or at least would keep things from sliding around. It is more a plastic which is not good for preventing sliding. It does have a good lip all around to contain any liquids which is the main reason I purchased this item.

        Rear cargo mat

Great product. Fits the cargo area nicely. If anything spills or you have wet gear it stays contained and then can be rinsed off.

Excellent fit and easy to customize

Fits nicely and I was able to easily cut out the areas for the rear seat brackets. Everything lined up nicely and it fits the space. My groceries and other items don't slide around on the surface and it has protected the back from spills and dirt. I mostly keep my rear seat folded up but when I do need to put it down the cargo liner fits perfectly underneath. Would definitely recommend. Excellent value for the cost.

        Won’t stay put

I bought this about a month ago and I’m not a fan. I thought it would be a similar material to my Jeep’s rubber floor mats but it’s a lot harder more like plastic. It slides forward whenever I hit the breaks. I cut out the holes for the back seat attachments to pass through. I regret it. Any water on the liner now gets channeled into those holes. I hope I can find a better one to replace this.

Every jeep needs a cargo liner!

The cargo liner arrived quickly, was loosely rolled in a box and laid flat quickly. There are places on that mat that are marked so you know where to cut to install correctly. The liner fit the back of my jeep perfectly. Not wanting to take the seat out, I made a small slit in the front of the mat and worked in in around where the seat attaches to the floor. I left the jeep windows down the afternoon I installed and after that the rubber smell was gone. A good purchase and a must have for anyone whose dog is their jeep buddy and anyone who uses their jeep yet wants to keep it somewhat clean inside!

        Liner did not fit

The liner did not fit my Jeep because of a speaker located near the rear door.

does the liner fit with the rear seat still in the vehicle, or just without it?

The two previous questions asked about the JK with a subwoofer contradict each other. As of 5/24/17- Is this liner compatible with a JK with the subwoofer in the floor?

      • The Rugged Ridge All Terrain Cargo Liner can be used with JK's with a subwoofer but trimming in designated areas is required to accommodate the factory subwoofer.

How well does this saying stay in place doing 70 miles an hour on the freeway with the top off

      • The Rugged Ridge All-Terrain Cargo Liner should have no issues staying in place- especially when installed under the rear seat.

This Rugged Ridge cargo liner shows the cut out for the sub woofer to right rear cargo area. The newer two door wranglers have the sub woofer in the center of the floor in the rear cargo area. I have called on this before its my understanding that this does not accommodate that sub woofer. You are saying it does. Could someone please verify that it does or doesn't. Mine is a 2016 JK 2 door. Thanks

      • Hello, if you have the Sub-woofer in the center on the floor, this Cargo mat will no working for you.
