This kit lifts the vehicle by 4.5 inches to increase ground clearance, allowing for larger tires and improved trail performance. It offers improved articulation and durability for demanding conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Crafted from heavy-duty steel, the kit includes high-clearance lower control arms and extreme-travel long arms designed for strength and longevity. The components feature a corrosion-resistant coating for durability and an aggressive, rugged appearance.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and takes approximately 8 to 9 hours. The kit is fully bolt-on with no drilling required, ensuring a straightforward upgrade process.
Application. Fits 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ equipped with NP242 transfer case. Does not fit models with 2.8L V-6 or diesel engines, AX5 transmission, or 1987-1989 models with Peugeot manual transmissions. Fender trimming is necessary when using 33-inch tires.
