The Rough Country 4.5-Inch Long Arm Suspension Lift Kit enhances your Jeep Cherokee XJ's off-road capabilities by raising ground clearance and optimizing suspension geometry. Designed for improved articulation and durability, it allows for better handling on rugged terrain while providing an aggressive stance.
Construction and Appearance. This lift kit features heavy-duty, high-clearance lower control arms and extended travel long arms engineered from durable materials with a quality finish. The components are built to withstand harsh conditions and contribute to a bold, commanding look.
Installation. Installation typically requires 8 to 9 hours and is a full bolt-on process with no frame drilling necessary. Proper tools and moderate mechanical experience are recommended to ensure a secure and reversible upgrade.
Application. Designed to fit 1984-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ models with 2.5L and 4.0L engines. This kit is not compatible with models equipped with 2.8L V6 or diesel engines, AX5 transmissions, or 1987-1989 models with Peugeot manual transmissions. Fender trimming is required to accommodate 33" tires.
