The Rough Country Suspension 4.50-Inch Long Arm Suspension Lift Kit with Add-A-Leafs and M1 Monotube Shocks significantly enhances the off-road performance of your Jeep Cherokee XJ by increasing ground clearance and improving articulation. Designed for rugged terrain, this kit is perfect for enthusiasts seeking better suspension geometry and durability while maintaining ride quality.
Construction and Appearance. Built with heavy-duty forged steel components, the kit includes high-clearance lower control arms and extreme-travel long arms featuring oversized flex joints and OEM-style rubber bushings. The kit includes a durable metallic silver finish on key components for visual appeal and corrosion resistance.
Installation. Installation requires approximately 8 to 9 hours and is a fully bolt-on process. Detailed guides are provided to assist with precise alignment and proper fit.
Warranty. The M1 monotube shocks included in the kit come with a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty, ensuring reliability and confidence in your suspension upgrade.
Application. Specifically engineered to fit 1984 to 2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ models powered by 2.5L I4 or 4.0L I6 engines equipped with the NP242 transfer case. Not compatible with models featuring 2.8L V-6 or diesel engines, AX5 transmissions, or 1987-1989 models with Peugeot manual transmissions. Tire trimming required for use with 33" tires.
