Description
Suspension Lift Solution. The Rough Country Suspension 4.50-Inch Long Arm Suspension Lift Kit with Rear Add-A-Leafs and M1 Monotube Shocks is designed to elevate the off-road performance and ground clearance of your Jeep Cherokee XJ. This kit improves suspension articulation, enhances alignment angles, and delivers a more aggressive stance, making it ideal for challenging trails and rugged terrain.
Construction and Appearance. Engineered with heavy-duty high-clearance lower control arms and extreme-travel long arms, the system incorporates fully greasable X-Flex control arms with OEM-style rubber bushings and oversized flex joints. Components feature durable finishes and solid steel construction, ensuring long-lasting strength and resistance to harsh off-road environments.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and is estimated to take 8 to 9 hours. This bolt-on kit does not require frame drilling, simplifying the installation process for experienced installers.
Warranty. The kit includes a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty on shocks and key components, providing assurance in product reliability and durability.
Application. Designed specifically for 1984 to 2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ models equipped with the NP242 transfer case. This kit is incompatible with 2.8L V-6 or diesel engine variants, AX5 transmission models, and 1987-1989 models using Peugeot manual transmissions. When fitted with 33-inch tires, fender trimming is required for proper clearance.
