Description
Heavy-Duty Steering Upgrade. The RockJock Currectlync Modular Extreme Duty Tie Rod with 1-Ton Tapered Ends is engineered to provide superior strength and durability for your Jeep Gladiator JT. This tie rod is ideal for off-road enthusiasts who have upgraded to 1-ton front differentials and require a robust steering solution.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from a massive 1 5/8-inch diameter 4130 chromoly heat-treated steel tube, this tie rod ensures exceptional resistance to bending and fatigue. The forged steel rod ends feature 1 1/4-inch RH/LH threads, and the removable 1-ton taper cartridges allow for easy maintenance and customization. The entire assembly is finished with a semi-gloss black powder coat for added corrosion resistance and a sleek appearance.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and completely bolt-on, requiring no modifications or machining to your vehicle. The design accommodates both standard and high-steer configurations, though re-tapering of knuckle holes may be necessary for high-steer setups. Proper tools, such as a 1 1/2-inch wrench for the tube flats and a 1 7/8-inch wrench for the jam nuts, are recommended.
