The Rancho RS9000XL Extended Travel Front Shock for 4.50-Inch Lift delivers high-performance damping control with its nine-position adjustment knob, allowing drivers to tailor ride firmness for both on-road comfort and off-road capability. This shock absorber enhances vehicle handling, especially for trucks, SUVs, and Jeeps that are frequently used for towing, hauling, or navigating rugged terrain.

      Construction and Appearance. Built for durability and resilience, this shock features an 18mm nitro-carburized piston rod for superior corrosion resistance and toughness. The 2.75-inch tri-tube body is filled with all-weather fluid able to withstand temperatures from -40 to 248°F, finished in a premium liquid metallic silver paint with a polyvinyl protective boot for prolonged life. Internal components include a graphite-filled, fluon-banded piston and polyurethane bumpers to ensure smooth and responsive performance.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward for technicians familiar with suspension upgrades, requiring no special drilling. However, due to the increased travel, an aftermarket double cardan CV front driveshaft must be installed to accommodate the limited travel of the original equipment driveshaft’s Rzeppa joint.

      Warranty. This shock absorber comes with a limited lifetime warranty, demonstrating confidence in its quality and durability.

      Application. Designed specifically for the 2020-2026 Jeep Gladiator JT with front lifted heights between 2.0 to 3.0 inches or up to 4.5 inches. Please note the requirement for an aftermarket double cardan CV front driveshaft due to OEM driveshaft limitations. It is recommended to use these shocks to depletion before switching to the RS994067 model for extended service.
