Improved Axle Strength for Worry-Free Off-Roading. Taking your Gladiator on more aggressive off-road adventures like rock crawling can potentially damage your Dana 44 axle. This Rancho rockGEAR Dana 44 Red Front Differential Cover, however, changes things. Unlike your axle’s stock cover, this front differential cover features substantial ribs that flare outwards from its center. This design, when combined with its durable cast iron construction, provides your Jeep’s Dana 44 with the necessary strength for worry-free off-roading. This differential cover also includes a large fill plug installed at an offset location. This fill plug’s larger design enables the differential to be filled much more conveniently and with more fluid. This additional fluid keeps the axle fully lubricated, especially when driving at an incline.
Durable Build Quality. This Dana 44 front differential cover is built from high-quality ductile utilizing a specialized precision-casting technique. This technique results in an accurately fitting cover that’s extremely durable. Finally, this component is finished in a tough red powder coating, offering excellent rust protection and awesome looks.
Trouble-Free Install Procedure. This differential cover mounts onto your Jeep’s factory Dana 44 cover location without the need for modifications to your vehicle. That said, this cover may come into contact with other components at full suspension compression. If this happens, this cover may require slight modifications.
