      Description

      Heat Shield Battery Cover. The PPE Top Post Battery Heat Shield; Black provides essential protection by reflecting heat away from the battery, reducing the risk of heat-related battery failure. It securely wraps around the battery’s top terminal area to insulate and safeguard it from excessive engine bay temperatures, thereby enhancing battery life and reliability.

      Construction and Appearance. This heat shield features a non-conductive, heat-reflective outer layer combined with a padded, insulated liner that envelops the battery. Heavy-duty stitching and wide hook-and-loop fastening panels ensure durability and a snug fit, while the matte black finish offers a clean, professional look.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward with no drilling required, utilizing hook-and-loop fasteners for quick and secure attachment. It easily fits most top terminal batteries within its size range.

      Warranty. The product includes a one-year limited warranty.

      Application. Fits 2007.5-2023 GM Duramax LMM, LML, and L5P engines with compatible battery group sizes and fitted battery circumferences. Adaptation may be necessary for vehicles outside this specification.
