Key Features. Just because you're riding around with half doors on your Jeep doesn't mean you want water and debris coming inside. Door seals don't last forever, so when yours starts to fail, this replacement is a solid way to restore the full functionality of your rig. Made for the driver's side, the rubber is soft and pliable enough to make closing your door easy, while creating an airtight seal that won't let anything through, boosting comfort and helping keep the interior of your vehicle cleaner.

Construction. This half door seal is made of automotive-quality rubber. That means it can withstand the rigors of the outdoors, as well as direct sunlight, extreme heat and freezing cold without failing prematurely.

Installation. Even people with little automotive experience can install this half door seal. The embedded pins press into the holes in the door frame, instead of the whole rubber piece sliding in like the stock setup. This method is more forgiving of mistakes, so you can fix one small section if there's a problem, instead of having to redo the whole job.

Application. The Omix-ADA Driver Door Outer Seal For Half Door is designed for use on all 1997-2006 Jeep Wranglers (TJ).

            perfect fit

I bought this seal to replace my original seal from the factory and it was a perfect fit with no leaks around the door. My old seal would leak when it rained and I could feel air coming in from in between the door and frame when driving but after installing this new seal all those problems were gone. Happy customer!

            Fitment could be an issue

The outer seal has all these little plastic pins to fit into a half door, but my '98 TJ doesn't support that. I just took them out and it fits just fine. Definitely stops the cold wind from creeping into my Jeep haha

            Door seal

Recently purchased this for a replacement, a little skeptical at first, the one on my door had no anchoring pins, after further investigation I found plugs in the holes, the track on my door was adhered with double sided tape and I noticed that there were only 7 holes, ordered and received the part anyway, I was able to remove the extra pins and the others lined up perfectly, have used for a few weeks now and I haven't had any problems....

It seems to fit very well.

I worked some in the auto body industry, and I would say this product lives up to OEM standards. You have to stretch it to make it reach all the factory holes, but I think that is the way it should be so it isn’t loose and flappy. That being said it has about twice as many clips as a half door on a Jeep has holes. I removed some clips out of the seal before I placed it, and it fits just fine and stayed tight that way. You have to remove the window and the retaining clips that the window slides, and if I remember correctly move the door panel away from the top of the door enough to be able to put the seal under it; to be able to place the seal correctly. Really a very simple install. Worth the money.

            Not OEM specs

Good material, bad fit. Door did not have holes for the push pins on the rubber, and I was not going to start drilling through my door. If your door has predrilled holes, then it would be great, just wasn't good for me. Went with universal fit rubber kit. Only complaint about anything from ET, great company great service.

            Product is worth the buy

It took about 30 mins to install. The biggest pain is taking off the door panel to take out the old strip and put in the new one but its worth it. It fixed my problem and fits great.
