Description
Upgrade to the Right Gear. The Nitro Gear & Axle Dana 44 Rear Ring Gear and Pinion Kit provides the Wrangler with 5.38 gear ratio. This lets the Wrangler regain any performance and fuel economy lost to heavy upgrades. Additionally, these gears are made for heavy-duty and are ideal for use on off-road applications.
Precise Construction. The ring and pinion gears are precision-made from high-quality 8620 steel forgings for outstanding strength and durability. Furthermore, the gears are heat-treated and CNC triple lapped for added hardness while also ensuring excellent fitment. This results in an ideal contact pattern that delivers smooth and quiet operation.
Recommended Upgrade. Note that the kit only includes the ring and pinion gears. For a complete refresh of the gears, a Nitro Gear & Axle installation kit is highly recommended.
Professional Installation Recommended. Changing out the differential gears is a complex procedure and requires expertise. Installation by a professional mechanic is therefore highly recommended.
2-Year Limited Warranty. The Dana 44 Rear Ring Gear and Pinion Kit is warranted to be free of defects in materials or workmanship. Exclusions will apply.
