      Description

      Upgrade to the Right Gear. The Nitro Gear & Axle Dana 44 Rear Ring Gear and Pinion Kit lets you set up your Wrangler for maximum performance by re-gearing to a 4.56 gear ratio. Furthermore, the gears’ superior construction ensures strength and durability for extreme conditions.

      Precision-Machined Construction. Nitro Gear & Axle manufactured these gears from high-quality 8620 steel forgings that are precision-machined, heat-treated, and CNC triple lapped. This precise construction results in the ideal contact pattern for a smooth and quiet operation.

      Recommended Upgrade.  This kit only contains the ring and pinion gears. Purchasing an installation kit is highly recommended.

      Direct Fit Replacement Upgrade. Another benefit of the precision-machining is that the gears are made with excellent fitment that helps make installation easier. However, installation by a qualified professional mechanic is highly recommended.

      2-Year Limited Warranty. The Dana 44 Rear Ring Gear and Pinion Kit is warranted to be free of defects in materials or workmanship. Exclusions will apply.

      Application. The Nitro Gear & Axle Dana 44 Rear Ring Gear and Pinion Kit with 4.56 gear ratio is designed to fit 1997 to 2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ models.
