With this kind of ratio, you can sport larger tires, conquer trails, tow and haul with confidence. All without losing much in terms of highway cruise speeds and fuel economy.

      Build for Heavy-Duty Use. The Nitro Gear & Axle Dana 30S Ring Gear and Pinion Kit is produced using 8620-grade triple alloy steel that’s forged and heat treated for maximum strength. Surfaces are CNC triple lapped to guarantee that each gear follows OEM specs for clearances and backlash.

      Recalibration Needed. Your speedometer needs to be re-calibrated to account for any change in gear or wheel for that matter. Use a recalibrating device or tuner after the gears are installed.

      Installation Reminder. To prevent costly installation mistakes, please hire a professional to install the Nitro Gear & Axle Ring Gear and Pinion Kit in your Jeep. Specialized equipment will be used and mechanical knowledge is required for this install.

      Warranty Policy. The Nitro Gear & Axle Ring Gear and Pinion Kit is backed by a limited 2-year warranty that covers material and workmanship defects. However, incidental damages from neglect, mishandling, and installation will not be covered. Please visit the manufacturer’s site for more info

      Technical Note. 4x4 Jeep Wranglers require matching front and rear gear ratios. Engaging your 4WD with severely different gear ratios may result in serious damages to your drivetrain components.
