      Description

This gear set gives you a high pinion with better a driveshaft angle, as well added low-end torque. The results are increased ground clearance for better off-roading and additional power for towing and hauling.

      Better Materials and Build. The Nitro Gear & Axle Dana 30S Ring Gear and Pinion Kit is composed of forged 8620 steel gears which underwent heat-treatment and CNC-machining. With triple-lapped surfaces, friction is minimized with accurate fitment to achieve the correct clearance and backlash for optimal performance.

      Recalibration Recommended. Recalibrate your onboard computer after every gear ration change to correct the speedometer readings in your gauge. Use a recalibrating device or tuner for this purpose.

      Install Safely and Accurately. It’s important to seek a professional mechanic’s help in installing the Nitro Gear & Axle Ring Gear and Pinion Kit. This is so you can minimize and even prevent costly installation mistakes that could end up voiding your warranty.

      Nitro Gear & Axle’s Warranty Policy. The Nitro Gear & Axle Ring Gear and Pinion Kit comes with the manufacturer’s 2-year warranty that covers material and workmanship issues. However, other damages brought on by neglect, mishandling, and installation will not be covered.

      Technical Note. 4x4 Jeep Wranglers require identical or close to identical front and rear gear ratios. Engaging your 4WD with mismatched gear ratios may result in serious damages to your drivetrain components such as the transmission, driveshaft, and axles.
