The Motobilt D34/78 Battery Box for Optima Batteries is designed to securely mount and protect Optima batteries in various vehicles including Jeeps, trucks, hot rods, and race cars. It provides an efficient enclosure solution, simplifying installation and maintenance while ensuring safety and reliability.

      Construction and Appearance. Made from 1/8 inch high-strength steel plate, the battery box is CNC laser cut for precision and formed on a hydraulic press brake to ensure a perfect fit. The box features a robust steel finish, with rivnuts pre-installed in the base for easy lid attachment and clearanced areas to accommodate the battery posts.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward, with pre-installed rivnuts allowing quick lid attachment. The battery box is designed to be either welded or bolted to a secure flat surface. No specialized tools are required for handling the fasteners, making removal and mounting convenient.
