      Description

      Ultimate Precision for Rear Axle Rebuilds. This complete install kit supplies all components to set ring and pinion depth and backlash to factory tolerances, ensuring quiet operation and optimal gear life. The matched gear set delivers smooth power transfer, while the bearing and seal components maintain lubrication and prevent leaks under load.

      High-Quality Materials and Tolerances. Manufactured with CNC-cut ring and pinion gears from alloy steel and heat treated for durability, the kit includes tapered roller bearings with exact preload shims. The crush sleeve and shim pack allow precise pinion alignment, and all hardware meets or exceeds OEM specifications.

      Installation. Remove the axle housing cover, extract old gears and bearings, install the new pinion with crush sleeve and preload shims, mount the ring gear carrier with proper backlash shims, set gear pattern, torque bearings and cover fasteners, and refill with gear oil.

      Application. The Motive Gear Dana 44 Rear Differential Gear Install Kit fits 2020–2025 Gladiator JT models equipped with a Dana 44 rear axle.
