Description
Fuel Line Heat Protection. The Vapor Block Fuel Line Sleeve; 0.625-Inch x 36-Inch is engineered to prevent vapor lock caused by fuel boiling from excessive heat exposure. It helps maintain stable fuel temperatures, improving engine idling and starting by reducing heat transfer to fuel lines. This sleeve wraps around fuel lines and other hoses to protect critical fluids and cables from vaporization and overheating.
Construction and Appearance. This sleeve combines glass fiber and polyester layers laminated with an aluminum outer surface to provide robust thermal insulation. The material has a durable, metallic finish that resists heat and abrasion, ensuring long-lasting protection in high-temperature engine environments.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with a split design featuring an adhesive flap; there is no need to disconnect fuel lines or perform complex modifications. Simply wrap the sleeve around the line, remove the adhesive liner, and secure the flap for a secure fit.
Application. Fits universal applications though some adaptation may be required. Not intended for direct use on exhaust components.
