      Description

      Advanced Radar Safety. The Radar Blind Spot System with Cross Traffic Detection is a retrofit solution designed to enhance driver awareness by monitoring blind spots and detecting cross traffic. It provides real-time alerts to help prevent collisions when changing lanes or reversing, making it an essential safety upgrade for vehicles without factory-installed systems. This system operates using radar technology, ensuring reliable detection in various driving conditions.

      Construction and Appearance. The system features high-precision 76-77 GHz radar sensors housed behind the rear fascia with robust, waterproof IP69-rated construction, ensuring durability against harsh environments. The hardware includes an amber warning light with black trim and an adjustable volume buzzer, designed for seamless integration and an unobtrusive appearance within the vehicle’s existing bodywork.

      Installation. The radar sensors mount behind the rear fascia using supplied brackets and screws, with a drill-in mounted HMI indicator light. The installation requires moderate skill, including drilling, but is facilitated by the included comprehensive wiring harnesses and detailed instructions.

      Application. This radar system fits universally with most vehicles equipped with plastic bumpers, as it does not operate through metal bumpers and may require some adaptation depending on the vehicle’s fascia design.
