Effective Heat Protection. The Heat Shroud; 20 AN x 10-Foot is designed to protect lines, hoses, and wires from heat damage and abrasion without the need for disconnection. Its wraparound design allows quick installation around existing components, making it a crucial accessory for maintaining system integrity under high heat conditions.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed from high temperature rated glass fiber fabric, the Heat Shroud features a reflective aluminized outer layer. It includes reinforced aramid thread for durability and heat resistance, with a hook-and-loop closure for secure and adjustable fitting. The outer finish is metallic and functional for intense radiant heat reflection.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and can be achieved without any tools or the removal of lines. The Heat Shroud simply wraps around the hose or line and fastens securely with its built-in hook-and-loop closure.
Application. Fits universal applications with some adaptation likely required. It is suitable for any hoses or lines within the 0.5 to 2.5 inch diameter range and is not to be applied directly on exhaust components.
