Description
Extreme Heat Barrier. The Form-A-Shield; 42-Inch x 48-Inch provides direct contact heat protection capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1400°F. It is used to shield components such as exhaust headers, manifolds, and turbo housings from extreme heat, reducing radiant temperatures and helping to lower underhood heat while maintaining exhaust system warmth.
_x000D_Construction and Appearance. This heat shield is constructed from 10 mil dimpled aluminum bonded to a high-temperature rated basalt thermal barrier material. The surface is durable and resistant to oil and chemical spills, featuring a pliable design that conforms easily to various shapes and configurations.
