Description
High Heat Barrier Protection. The Floor and Tunnel Shield II; 42-Inch x 48-Inch; Aluminum is designed to block and reflect extreme heat from intruding into vehicle interiors, protecting components and electronics. It is ideal for use on firewalls, transmission tunnels, floorboards, fuel cells, and other areas experiencing persistent high temperatures.
_x000D__x000D_Construction and Appearance. Constructed with an embossed 10 mil aluminum face bonded to a 1/8" composite glass-fiber core, this shield features a high-temperature, pressure-sensitive backing capable of withstanding up to 1750°F. The aluminum surface provides enhanced rigidity and reflective properties while maintaining a lightweight and durable finish suitable for minimal clearance applications.
_x000D__x000D_Installation. Installation is straightforward, with the product being easily shaped and trimmed for custom fitting. Drilling is generally not required, making it accessible for both professional and DIY applications.
_x000D__x000D_Application. Fits universal; some adaptation may be required. The aluminum side must always face the heat source for effective performance, and this product should not be applied directly on exhaust components.
