Description
Improved Steering Stability. Carrying a spare tire on a factory spare tire mount with a rear bumper can cause issues on the tailgate not properly closing. This rear instability poses problems on the steering quality of the JL, especially when threading through challenging terrains. In addition, the repeated contact of the larger spare tire with the bumper may also eventually result in abrasions or minor damages. Iron Cross provides an effective solution with its Spare Tire Relocation Plate by elevating the mounting points so that a larger spare can be accommodated without rear bumper contact. This more secure mounting of the additional weight facilitates an improved stability and easier steering of the JL.
Durable Construction. This Spare Tire Relocation Plate is made out of premium solid steel with superior durability. With a tough one-piece plate design, it is built to effortlessly handle the weight of the entire spare wheel-tire combo.
Simple Bolt-On Installation. This Iron Cross Spare Tire Relocation Plate is designed for a simple, no-drill, no-weld installation. It mounts directly onto the Wrangler’s factory mounting points. The installation process takes around 30 minutes to complete.
