Description
Insane Performance. Are you after absolute suspension performance? Will nothing but the best do? If so, you'll need the ICON Vehicle Dynamics 1.75-3 in. Coil-Over Conversion Suspension System - Stage 3. This kit includes all the advantages of the lower ICON coilover kits, with the addition of externally-adjustable Series 2.0 V.S. shocks. The CDCV adjusters allow on-trail adjustments for compression damping. The rest of the kit lives up to coilover expectations. Only a full coilover suspension can deliver absolute consistency and control under all conditions, from smooth asphalt to extreme rock crawling. That's what makes coil overs a mandatory part of any off-road race truck build. If you'll settle for nothing but the best, this is the kit you need. What's even better: It requires no fabrication, cutting, or welding. Your JK can be returned to stock configuration whenever you wish.
Progressive-Rate Springs. The coilover springs in this kit are progressive-rate. The soft initial rate make for a soft, compliant ride on the street and on gentle trails. When things get gnarly, that secondary spring rate keeps your JK's body and wheels where they each belong. These coil overs feature an adjustable secondary-rate engagement, so you get to decide when you want that stiffer spring rate to kick in.
Series 2.0 Reservoir Shocks with CDCV. The shocks in this kit are works of art on their own. The thick 7/8" shafts are nitro-plated for smooth action and long-life. The external reservoirs help keep the fluid cool even through the harshest use. These particular shocks feature external CDCV adjusters, so you can tune compression damping to your taste without removal and disassembly.
Adjustable Track Bars. Track bar geometry is critical for smooth suspension action and extended articulation. ICON includes custom track bars for this reason. The Teflon-coated bushings ensure smooth operation and long-life. ICON also includes custom tubular upper and lower links for both axles. It's a comprehensive approach.
No Welding or Cutting Needed. ICON makes installation relatively easy by eliminating the need for any welding, cutting, or further fabrication. They've done it all for you. When installed as directed, this kit can be removed and the stock parts replaced whenever you wish. Allow 4-5 hours for a full installation. You'll need to get a professional wheel alignment when done.
Limited Lifetime Spring Warranty. The coilover springs are guaranteed against sagging for life. The other kit components are covered under separate warranties. Check the ICON website for details.
Application. This Stage 3 ICON Vehicle Dynamics 1.75-3 in. Coil-Over Conversion Suspension System is designed to fit all 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK models.
Application Note: This kit works on both 4-door and 2-door Wranglers, though the 2-door models will ride slightly higher than the 4-doors. True ride height depends on body weight and load. Installation on 2012 model-year Jeeps requires an exhaust extender, sold separately.
