This Aeroskin hood protector is pre-equipped with automotive-grade double-sided adhesive tape on its underside, making installation an uncomplicated peel-and-stick install process. Before installation, it is suggested that the mounting surfaces be thoroughly cleaned and dried before being wiped down with the included alcohol pads. This is to promote adhesion of the tape to your vehicle. It’s also advised that the mounting surfaces first be warmed-up when installing this component in cold weather as the adhesive works best in temperatures between 60 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. This can be accomplished using a hairdryer or heat gun.

Application Notes. Please do not drive your Jeep for 24 hours, and do not wash for 72 hours after installation. This is to give time for the adhesive to completely set.
